Accountant

Southport is looking to grow its dedicated team with the addition of a full-time Accountant, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Financial planning and analysis
  • Managing assets
  • Overseeing procurement policies and procedures
  • Preparing audit working papers and assisting in the preparation of annual reports

Job Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in all aspects of finance, accounting, taxation, and information technology
  • Participation in the development of long term strategic planning
  • Must possess excellent analytical, communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Effectively collaborates with colleagues

Education and Experience:

  • Working towards a Professional Accounting Designation (CPA)
  • Minimum of three years of experience
