Site Coordinators, Southport Golf Club
Southport is a not-for-profit property management and development company, located 3 km south of Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, Canada. Southport is looking for applicants to fill Full-time, Seasonal – Site Coordinator positions to support the day-to-day operations of the Southport Golf Club for the 2023 golf season (April 10, 2023, to October 15, 2023).
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervision of Clubhouse Attendants and assist Assistant Manager with organized events
- Busing and expediting kitchen orders for table/take-out service
- Service of alcoholic beverages
- Cleaning and maintaining the Clubhouse, patio, and Clubhouse exterior areas
- Managing golf tee-times, membership sales, green fees, club/cart rentals and kiosk/kitchen sales
Position requirements:
- Excellent public relations, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work individually and as part of a team, with minimal supervision
- Previous experience supervising staff, would be considered an asset
- Previous server and/or bartender experience would be considered an asset
- Present professional image always
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
- Current Smart Choices certification or be willing to obtain same upon hire
- Food Handler’s Training Certificate would be considered an asset
- Basic First Aid and CPR would be considered an asset
- Previous knowledge in MS Windows
- Punctual and reliable
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, as required, including day, evening and weekend shifts and holidays.
Prior to the commencement of employment, the successful applicant will be required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination by providing a Government of Manitoba issued QR code and photo identification or providing proof of an exemption from the COVID-19 vaccination approved by the Government of Manitoba.
