Golf Club Now Open
Tee Time Booking Guidelines
Please read the following guidelines prior to booking your tee time at Southport Golf Club:
Recently, the province unveiled the phases in which Manitoba will begin to restore safe services. Under ‘Phase One’ which comes into action May 4, outdoor recreation facilities and golf courses can reopen. With this, the Southport Golf Club will be available for public use under the following parameters.
- Patrons must maintain a distance of at least 6 feet at all times, except for brief exchanges.
- Tee times are available at 15-minute intervals to ensure proper physical distancing.
- Hand sanitizing stations will be available in the clubhouse.
- Payment is temporarily restricted to debit, credit, or contactless payment over the phone prior to your arrival.
- The driving range and putting green are temporarily unavailable.
- Outdoor washrooms on the course and ball washers will be temporarily unavailable.
Before You Arrive:
- You must have pre-booked a tee time before you arrive at the course.
- Arrive at the course no more than 15 minutes before your round.
- Please stay home if you: are experiencing COVID-19 related symptoms, have left the province within the last 14 days, have come into contact with someone who may have COVID-19.
- Handshakes, high fives, and other touching gestures are not permitted before, during, or after play.
Upon Your Arrival:
- Maintain proper physical distancing of 6 feet while unloading in the parking lot.
- Clubhouse entry will only be permitted through the north door, and exit only through the south door.
- Only one group (up to four golfers) will be allowed in the clubhouse at any time.
- All golfers must use the hand sanitizer station upon entering the clubhouse.
- Only one golfer per cart, with the exception of those from the same household.
During Your Play:
- You must wait until your assigned tee time. No exceptions.
- Please ensure the group in front of you has left the first tee box before you approach it.
- Only touch your own personal items - including balls, clubs, bags, and carts.
- Pins must remain in the holes at all times. Spacers have been added to the cups to easily remove your ball without touching anything else.
After Your Round:
- Park your cart on the south side of the clubhouse for it to be sanitized by staff.
- All refuse is to be taken home with you. Do not leave garbage in the cart.
- Please exit the facility upon returning your cart. No congregating in the parking lot allowed.
