Join Southport on Saturday, September 13th, for the Southport RUNway!

Explore the community of Southport on foot by registering for the 5KM or 10KM race. Both routes will take participants airside along the apron of Southport CYPG—a one-of-a-kind running experience!

This unique event launched in 2022 as the Southport Fun’d Run, welcoming 20 participants and raising $5,000 for the Community Foundation of Portage la Prairie & District. In 2023, the event was rebranded as the Southport RUNway—offering runners the unforgettable experience of racing right alongside real aircraft. That year, 66 participants hit the CYPG apron and helped raise an impressive $6,000 for the Foundation.
