Southport Welcomes New CEO Nathan Peto!

Southport is excited to announce the appointment of Nathan Peto as Chief Executive Officer, beginning in late January 2025! With extensive leadership experience from his roles with the City of Portage la Prairie, City of Brandon, and Brandon Chamber of Commerce, Nathan brings valuable expertise in public administration, strategic planning, and infrastructure management. Southport’s Board Chair, Dale Lyle, expressed confidence in Nathan’s ability to lead Southport through its next phase of growth and development.

Southport also extends its deepest appreciation to retiring CEO Peggy May, who has guided the organization through significant expansion and diversification since 2012. Her impact and dedication leave a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire.
