If you have your Red Seal Chef certification, and can oversee multiple tasks and people simultaneously, you might be ready for this! Our cooks follow cycle menu’s, oversee food prep, and prepare ethnically diverse meals in a well equipped, clean industrial kitchen. Kitchen staff must be flexible to changes in numbers, products, and serving venues (banquet, full-service meals, dispersed meals, and service from a steam table). Tasks include food prep, cooking, storage and receiving while following a clean-as-you-go plan. Overseeing Front of House (cash and service) tasks are sometimes a part of the position, and daily cash reports and closing checklists are part of the supervisory field you will oversee. Shifts are flexible and include 6-8 hr shifts, 5 out of 7 days a week (Yes this includes evenings and week ends). Shift times begin at 5am or 11:30am, and you will  require reliable transportation to the location.  Ability to work independently and with a team, meet time targets, with strong organization skills during shift is needed. Wage is $21.00 an hour and bilingual status warrants .50 cents more per hour. This position requires general physical wellness, and ability to stand, lift, move etc. for the duration of shifts. Industrial cooking experience for 3+ years, and an ability to oversee multiple tasks and people simultaneously, you might be ready for this! Our supervisors aid and oversee food prep, and prepare ethnically diverse meals in a well equipped, clean industrial kitchen. Kitchen staff must be flexible to changes in numbers, products, and serving venues (banquet, full-service meals, and service from a steam table). Tasks include food prep, cooking, storage and receiving while following a clean-as-you-go plan. Shifts may start at a rotating 5am or 11:30am, and run  6-8 hr in length, 5 out of 7 days a week (Yes this includes evenings and week ends). General Help – Southport Manitoba

Canada Catering Co Limited is looking for Part time and Full time general cafeteria workers to join our team. We currently have entry level positions opening for those who can follow tasks lists independently, have a love of food and service, but recognize the less glamorous side of the industry! Your tasks will be time and routine sensitive and will include, but not be limited to basic food prep, receiving, storing foods in compliance with all food safety requirements and the general cleaning that accompanies these tasks (equipment, floors, dishes and pots etc.). You may be needed for service to our customer and occasional cash work. We have a multi faceted operations which includes cafeteria style service, short-order cooking, as well as catered events. Entry shifts include week days, evenings and week ends, and you will require your own reliable transportation to get to work. Those with experience are encouraged to apply, as are those with no experience, if you have the right attitude we can train. Bilingual status warrants .50 cents more per hour.
