Recreation Manager Wanted - September 9/18
Southport is hiring a Recreation Manager for the Central Plains RecPlex. The Central Plains RecPlex is Southport Aerospace Centre’s modern recreation facility, located 3km south of Portage la Prairie. The interior of the RecPlex features a rock climbing wall, walking path, weight and cardio machines, a full gymnasium, a Bowling Alley, and a food kiosk. The RecPlex outdoor properties consist of a running track, a soccer field, three baseball diamonds and two tennis courts. The Central Plains RecPlex is currently searching for a full-time Manager, Recreation. The core responsibilities of the Manager, Recreation include:
• Managing the RecPlex staff, programs, properties, reports and budget in accordance with the strategic directives of Southport Aerospace Centre’s Business Plan
• Continually improving customer service and relations
• Promoting the RecPlex through the Central Plains RecPlex digital forum
• Enforcing Workplace Health and Safety Procedures and programs for staff
• Maintaining the RecPlex infrastructure, equipment and associated properties in clean and functional condition
